Our Annual Toy Drive & Charity Extravaganza Returns!
Saturday, December 7th from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Join us for a day of fun as we raise money for children in need here on Long Island.
It’s a day of fun, sketching, photo opportunities and more, all topped off with our famous Charity Raffle with awesome prizes to benefit sick children here on Long Island.
Bring a NEW UNWRAPPED TOY to our Toy Drive, hang out and get a sketch, and grab some tickets to our raffle!
Tickets are $5.00 each and you can win as many times as you have tickets.

12:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Come meet a great bunch of artists all volunteering to sketch for FREE for the day! Here’s who’s joining us:
Jacob Chabot: Jacob is joining us for maybe the 15th time? He’s an absolute sketching monster returning to sketch again! You may know him from his work on SIMPSONS, SPONGEBOB, PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES, and of course his own amazing SKULLBOY!
Lula Lukas: Local favorite Lula Lukas will be joining us for the third time! Come on down and see her fantastic work and see why she is considered one of the top local artists.
Tom Travers: Our very own Tom Travers returns again! Tom has been super generous repeatedly coming out to support us. Come meet him once again and check out his BATTLE SKULL comic!
John Broglia: John is joining us for a second time bringing his powerhouse sketching talents to the table. John has a ton of independent published work out there, so come check out his stuff!
Eddie Avila: Come meet Eddie Avila from DAY ONE COMICS. Eddie’s got a great style and happens to be a super nice guy joining us for the third time!
Garrett Berner: Joining us again is long time friend of the store Garrett Berner! Garrett has decades of art out there and did a little book called LOST STORIES some of you may remember. Maybe I will dig out copies for him to sign!
Michael Jan Friedman: Michael will be joining us again as the “LONE WRITER” on the panel! If you’re a fan of STAR TREK, come on down and ask him about the many works in the STAR TREK universe that he’s written. And of course, he’s got comic work out there too! And indy work. This guy’s prolific! So come pick his brains and check him out.

Come down and meet two of the nicest writers in the industry and take part in a “Discussion Group” about all things comics! This isn’t just a signing where you’ll wait in a line to ask one question. Joe and Michael will be “holding court”, fielding all your questions about comics and more since between the two of them they have written comics, novels, TV shows and movies! (But yes, they’ll sign your books too!)
You probably know Joe from his work on Deadpool, Spider-Man, X-Men, JLA, I Kill Giants and more (Did you know he created BEN10? Ask him about it. It’s a good story.) While Michael’s work on Star Trek novels, Aliens, Predator, Darkstars, Flash and more is among his ten New York Times Bestseller list entries.
So come down and take part in an in-depth chat with two long time industry pros!
